In this collaborative session, participants will use a playful dice game as a creative brainstorming and decision-making tool to outline their objectives and key results for the upcoming quarter.
Through a democratic voting process, the group will then harmonize their preferences and transform them into actionable initiatives that will pave the way for achieving success in people operations.
How to use this template
Activity instructions
Review the instructions and make copies of the People Wheel Worksheet to distribute to participants.
Divide participants into smaller groups of 4-8 people.
Provide participants with a brief overview of OKRs using the provided slides.
Instruct each group to decide on the six most important HR domains to set strategy for in the upcoming quarter.
Each group member should fill in the numbered spaces on the HR Domain wheel with their choices.
The group should repeat the process for the focus areas and fill in the wheel with the group’s choices.
Each person in the group will roll one die to determine the HR domain for which they will write an objective and again to determine the focus area of their key results by matching the number on the dice to the corresponding numbered option on each wheel.
