Team Building Bingo

🔎 Team Building Bingo

This is one of our team’s favorites—it’s engaging, personal, and gets everyone up and talking.

It’s pretty simple: everyone has a fun fact on the board, and the objective is for every person to go around finding out which fact is attributed to which person through one-on-one conversations.

We’ve used it at our own offsites and helped clients try it, too.

How to use this template

Notes

  • Best for groups of about 15-25, otherwise you end up with a very small or very large bingo board.

  • Requires a bit of prep work and printing, but we think it’s well worth it.

Prep instructions

  1. Download our template or create your own bingo board.

  2. Before your event, ask each attendee to submit a fun fact about themselves. If you want, you can come up with a theme like career, travel, or food.

  3. Collect responses into a list, making sure you have one fact for everyone.

  4. Fill in each box of your bingo board with one of the submitted fun facts. Come up with some extras if you have blank spaces to fill.

  5. Print out a copy for each participant and have them ready at the event, plus markers for them to use on the board. Tip: printing on cardstock paper will make it easier to play.

  6. Decide in advance how teammates “win”—classic bingo rules, or your own spin?

Activity instructions

  1. Once everyone is gathered, hand out the bingo boards and markers.

  2. Tell everyone their objective: find the people who correspond to the fun facts on their bingo board and have them sign their square.

  3. Set a time limit if needed, then let the mingling begin!
