How to use this template

Prep instructions

1. Prepare a list in advance. You can use our pre-filled template, write them up yourself, or solicit examples from attendees before they arrive.

2. Define your rules. Generally, folks will hold up both hands and put a finger down if they’ve committed the faux pas mentioned. Feel free to experiment with other options, like folks simply raising their hands.

Activity instructions

1. Explain the rules: everyone holds up ten fingers, and after an example is read aloud, they drop a finger if they’ve done that example in the past.

2. Read the first example.

3. Pass the list around and have each person read the next one, or provide the option for them to come up with their own.

4. Continue around the room until you’ve run out of time/options, or until one last person is left with a finger up.
