When MPOWER said "throw a party," they meant it.

Annual celebrations at big companies can be daunting.

‍

But this year, MPOWER's 675-head turnout told the story before anyone had to say anything. That's the space between "we threw a party" and "people actually wanted to come."

‍

MPOWER came to BoomPop to rebuild their whole annual celebration. Two nights: a Friday awards dinner and a Saturday celebration designed to make employees feel like the company put real thought into them. (Because they did.)

Highlights

A stadium concourse that stopped people at the door

The venue did heavy lifting before a single person touched their drink. We draped and lit an entire stadium concourse from scratchβ€”the kind of full-room transformation where guests walk in and their first reaction is to look around before they say hello to anyone.

‍

JD Casper from 'The Voice' played through cocktail hour and dinner. The awards portion recognized top performers in an arena built for the NFL. Consider this MPOWER's Super Bowl.

‍

Then the CEO made his entrance with 'Light Balance'β€”the LED performance group from 'America's Got Talent'. Everyone was speechless.

Confetti cannons FTW

Emerald City Band, the top party band in DFW, had the floor. Mirrored cowboys roamed the space and caused delightful disruption wherever they went.

‍

Late in the evening, Whataburger appeared paired with espresso martinis. Nobody asked for this, and everyone was (very) grateful.

‍

Light-up cowboy hats for all meant everyone left with something to wear. Photo ops were sprinkled throughout both nights equipped with a proper Glambot. The confetti cannons went off, and the crowd reaction was a good reminder that confetti cannons are always the right call.

The part MPOWER said out loud afterward

They called it a reset. (Their word, not ours.)

‍

After years of building expectations around this event, MPOWER walked away feeling this one set the bar. Guests are already looking forward to next year. 622.5 hours of BoomPop planning time made it happen.

‍

Underneath all of itβ€”a company that wanted to say thank you in a way their people would actually feel.

"Working with MPOWER was an absolute highlightβ€”their commitment to celebrating their team and creating a meaningful experience made the entire process incredibly rewarding. Together, we transformed the space into something truly unique, creating a memorable evening that guests will be talking about long after it ended."
