Developed 500-years ago, a Gaiwan is a teaware set used by tea connoisseurs for tea tasting and evaluation. Learn to become a tea connoisseur in this hands-on class!

Your certified Tea Sommelier will cover the history and different types of Gaiwan brewing techniques. Expect more doing than listening in this transporting, sensorial experience.

Ashley did a great job providing some background on Gaiwan, explaining things about holding the cups, decanting, even the fact that for the particular tea we sampled today, the leaves were picked from climbing trees, which was interesting. Overall, it was a very enjoyable, pleasant experience with fellow co-workers.
